57th Baeksang Arts Awards: Nominees for Best Film/Drama and Best Screenplay for Film/Television (2021)
Often referred to as the ‘Oscars of Korea’, the Baeksang Arts Awards is the only comprehensive awards ceremony in Korea which recognizes excellence in both film and television.
The list of nominees for this year’s awards night was released on April 12, 2021 and the awards night will take place and be broadcasted by jTBC on May 13, 2021.
I’ve decided to watch as much of the nominated works as I can up until May 13th to provide my opinion on the winners for certain categories. I’ve seen some of the nominated works but not all. As such, I will be prioritizing the works in categories, Best Film, Best Film Screenplay, Best Drama, Best Drama Screenplay as those are the ones I care the most about.
I will post reviews on the blog for all the works nominated for those categories just in case you guys also want to check them out. Based on the reviews, I will share my thoughts on the winners when they come out through another post. As for the other categories, granted I’ve seen all - if not, most of the works in it, I will share those also.
